The lighthouse

Leather notebook cover, hand tooled, dyed and painted.  This cover is made from Hermann Oak leather, which is widely regarded to be the best quality vegetable tanned leather available, it is lined, and has pockets made from, a thin goat leather.
 
This notebook cover will hold any standard A5 notebook (not a spiral bound one though), my personal cover currently holds a notebook which is almost 2cm thick, so a thinner notebook would leave you with plenty of room for notes, postcards or reciepts.  
 
The design tooled onto the cover is sketched by me and I will never make another one exactly the same.
 
The sea has beened tooled by hand to bring texture to the waves and swirls, the sky sparkles with stars painted in metallic silver and each ray of light from the lighthouse has a different pattern tooled or stamped onto it, it has been dyed and painted using specialist leather dyes and paints and finished with a sealant to protect it.  
 
Postage within ght UK is included in the purchase price, postage to the US mainland and Canade is an additional £25 for international tracked and signed for.
